The Mission of the AME Church is to minister to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all people.
We are a church that seeks growth in spirit, mind, heart, health, wealth, membership, and service. Our aim is to worship God corporately and individually through the giving of our time, talents, and treasures. We will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and will encourage all members to cultivate their callings in God. We will reach out to lost souls for Christ, and we will give assistance to those who are in need.
We will lift up our voices on behalf of those who are voiceless, and we will take care of the Earth that God has given us. We seek to do these things with God’s help through our core values of spiritual formation, stewardship, service, evangelism, and education.

Our doors are always open at St. John AME Church, for we are a life giving church from all backgrounds where people from all backgrounds are embraced, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. It is here that Family Matters.
